Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

At least since the recent terrorist attack in Paris against the editorial team of the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, it has now become clear to everyone just how great the power of laughter may be.

The comic is actually a very serious matter. The comic in literature is a phenomenon as large as a galaxy;a phenomenon that includes various solar systems such as comedy, satire, parody, humour, irony, wit, etc. All of these solar systems follow their respective laws of gravity and are the result of specific historical developments.

It is no coincidence that the dynamics of the comic have long been the subject of many studies and reflections among philosophers, writers and psychologists.
