Aims, contents and method of the course

E-learning module consisting of 12 lessons, focused on getting knowledge of Dutch legal terminology. Special focus on differencies (with regard to different legal systems) between Dutch as used in the Netherlands and Dutch as used in Belgium.

Assessment and permitted materials

First 10 lessons - an on-line test
2 last lessons- a paper + translations of legal texts

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Getting knowledge of Dutch legal terminology, special focus on the differencies between Dutch as used in the Netherlands and Dutch as used in Belgium and translation theory/practise.
