Aims, contents and method of the course

Slovakia is a small country in Central Europe with a population over five million and an area of abou 49 000 square kilometres. In Slovakia lies the geographic centre of Europe. It is the real heart of Europe.
Lectures give the students information of Slovakia - its history, inhabitants, towns, geography, cultute, art, traditons.
- A Christmas lesson with tasting of Slovak Christmas specialities.
- A one-day facultative trip to Slovakia.
- The students will get study materials in PDF form.

Assessment and permitted materials

Written test at the end of semester.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Knowlegde of Slovakia, newest information of present day Slovakia.
