Aims, contents and method of the course

Grundkenntnisse zur genetischen (Sprachverwandtschaft) und sprachgeografischen Positionierung der Ungarn, Finnen, Esten und anderer finnisch-ugrischsprachiger Völker in der eurasischen Sprachen- und Kulturlandschaft: Geschichte, traditionelle Kultur, Sprache, heutige sprach- und ethnopolitische Lage.

Assessment and permitted materials

Schriftliche Abschlussprüfung.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Verständnis der eurasischen Sprachen- und Kulturenvielfalt, besonders hinsichtlich der finnisch-ugrischsprachigen Völker. Verständnis der Problematik von Begriffen wie “Verwandtschaft”, “Sprachkontakt”, “Mehrsprachigkeit”, “indigenes Volk”, “ethnische Identität”, “authentische Kultur” usw.
