Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This exercise course deals with the advent of written languages and language documentation of the Finno-Ugric (Uralic) languages: when, how, and why were these languages first documented and/or written; how do the documented languages and language forms differ from modern languages.
Assessment and permitted materials
Small exercises will be assigned over the course of the semester (constituting 40% of the grade); there will be a written exam at the end of the semester (constituting 60% of the grade).
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Minimum requirement: More than 50% of the maximum number of points in evaluation of exercises and exam.90-100% = 1 (best grade)
75%+ = 2
60%+ = 3
50%+ = 4
< 50% = 5 (failing grade)
75%+ = 2
60%+ = 3
50%+ = 4
< 50% = 5 (failing grade)
