Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Ziel des Seminars ist es, unterschiedliche theoretische Ansätze kennenzulernen, die sich mit literarischer Wertung befassen. Dabei werden die beiden bekanntesten Ausdrucksformen "Kanon" und "Klassik" im Vordergrund der diskutierten Texte stehen.

Assessment and permitted materials

Mündliche Leistung (Referat, Textpatenschaft); schriftliche Abschlussprüfung in Form einer Seminararbeit im Umfang von ca. 10 Seiten.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Regelmäßige und aktive Teilnahme, Vorbereitung der Texte zu den einzelnen Sitzungen (Dozentin behält sich vor, die Lektüre spontan abzuprüfen), Bereitschaft, sich mündlich zu beteiligen (in Form eines Referats oder einer Textpatenschaft), schriftliche Abschlussarbeit.

Examination topics

Die von der Dozentin vorgelegte Literatur sowie die Inhalte der Sitzungen.

Reading list

Literaturische wie literaturwissenschaftliche Essays, Reden und wissenschaftliche Texte seit dem 20. Jahrhundert, die sich auf unterschiedliche Weise der Frage des literarischen Wertes annäheren. Die Texte werden als pdf-Dokumente bei Moodle bereitgestellt.
