Aims, contents and method of the course

Die Vorlesung gibt zunächst einen Überblick über theoretische Modelle zu Komik in der Literatur und ihrer potentiellen subversiven Wirkung. Es folgt die Präsentation und Diskussion einer Reihe von Beispielen von der Renaissance bis zur Gegenwart. Unter den behandelten Autor*innen finden sich Rabelais, Sterne, Goethe, Austen, Nestroy, Heine, Kraus, Bernhard, Jelinek und Sargnagel.

Schriftliche Abschlussprüfung, voraussichtlich online.

Es wird ein Skriptum auf der moodle-Plattform zur Verfügung gestellt, dazu ein Reader mit Textauszügen. Beides ist Gegenstand der abschließenden Prüfung.
