Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Russian I is the first phase in the three-course sequence. This introductory course is designed for students with no background in the language and covers beginning and intermediate levels of speaking, reading and writing in Russian, including grammar and literature skills. A strong emphasis on reading and comprehension provides the necessary framework to apply the obtained knowledge in the field of literary studies.
