Assessment and permitted materials
As this is a research seminar, with a practical component, a high level of interest and the ability to undertake self-motivated research will be important to successfully complete the course.
Assessment will consist of project work, written assignments and in-class presentation and participation. Students should be sure to plan enough time for this.
However, the effective workload is difficult to estimate and employee and family-friendly solutions can be found in consultation with the course instructor.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
No prior knowledge of working with the technologies used in this class is assumed. However, students will need to have access to a laptop for the practical component of the course.The course is evaluated according to a points system. You can achieve 100 points in the course. The research project is rated with up to 70 points. Oral and written participation are each rated with up to 30 points. The minimum for the positive completion of the courses is 51 points. Conversion of points to grades: 0-50 = insufficient, 51-60 = sufficient, 61-70 = satisfactory, 71-80 = good, 81-100 = very good
