Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Introduction to the corpus of Mesopotamian bilingual incantations; investigation of the the grammar and the structure of these texts, and of their Sitz-im-Leben. Reading of texts in class and short presentations by the participants.

Preparation of the texts read in class, regular and active participation in the course, oral presentatio

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Competences in Sumerian and Akkadian grammar and in the reading of the Cuneiform script as corresponds to the level expected for the modules indicated as an prerequisite for the inscription to this course
