Aims, contents and method of the course

Coaching the writing of MA theses. Presentation of the MA topic and discussion of relevant texts and methodology

Assessment and permitted materials

One initial presentation on the own theses and one advanced after discussion and review of the initial one.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Minimal requirements: active participation in class: oral presentation on the topic of the MA thesis and preparation of the corrected exposé for the MA thesis including bibliography (including reaction on feedback) after evaluation, in accordance with the indications given by the teacher of the course and in accordance with the rules of best scientific practice. Participation is mandatory, three classes can be missed. Every single contribution is evaluated separately. The exposé (and, if required, the reaction on feedback) contributes to the final grade by 40%, the oral presentation contributes 20% and regular participation in class, 40%.

Active participation in class, first presentation, corrected presentation and written exposé for MA thesis
