Für die philologische Analyse sind gute Kenntnisse (mind. 5 Semester) in Hindi oder Nepali nötig. Nach einem einführenden Überblick in die Geschichte und Bandbreite der online-Zeitungen und Blogs in Indien und Nepal sollen sich die TeilnehmerInnen jeweils selbst eine online-Zeitung oder einen Blog aussuchen und ausgewählte Inhalte philologisch analysieren und anhand einer passenden Fragestellung auswerten.
