Aims, contents and method of the course

Understanding the security structures of the Arab world with special consideration of Jihadi phenomena. In the first part of the course English language sources will be studies, presented and discussed, in the second part Arabic language sources.

Making sense of English and Arabic language sources.

Writing a paper on a specific issue of security analysis.
