Didaktik: In mehreren Einheiten wird von der Leiterin in der Präsentation der einführenden Theorie Bezug auf die von den StudentInnen zur Interpretation/ Analyse verwendeten Werke afrikanischen Theaters genommen.

Die Auseinandersetzung mit der relevanten Primär- und Sekundärliteratur soll die TeilnehmerInnen befähigen, verschiedene Aspekte von Theater und Performance in Afrika selbständig zu bearbeiten.
