Aims, contents and method of the course
This lecture gives a first insight into and overview of the history, debates and the plurality of methods of women's studies, feminist sciences and gender studies.
Assessment and permitted materials
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
A central goal is to enable the students to question and to contextualise the existing canon of gender studies and to enrich their analytical instruments.
Examination topics
Presentations, inputs and discussion are of the utmost importance. In addition, teaching materials such as documentaries, videos, ethnographic examples and current research materials are used.
