Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Survey of the history of the Middle East from the beginnings to the mid-second millennium BCE; lecture course, some additional reading will be required.
The lectures will be digital. The sessions can be accessed via Moodle.
Half of the lectures will be in English, the other half in German.

Assessment and permitted materials

A final written exam. 50% of achievable points are necessary for a pass grade. Grades increase in 12.5% steps

Goal: sound knowledge of the basics of the early history of the Middle East
