Assessment and permitted materials
No final examination, but see under "Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab" (Minimum requirements and criteria of evaluation).
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The minimum requirements for a positive evaluation are constant active collaboration (missing thrice at most is permitted), an oral report with handout, and the writing of a seminar paper (including a possible consultation talk thereon) on the linguistic characteristics of the modern Turkish short story according to the rules of good scholarly practice (among other things: no plagiarism! acceptable linguistic and stylistic level! correct citing!). The collaboration includes research on a small scale with short reports on it including discussion. Each partial accomplishment will be evaluated individually. The seminar paper (and possible consultation talk) will make up 50% of the evaluation, the oral report with handout and other collaboration 50% thereof.
Examination topics
Determining and interpreting linguistic characteristics of the modern Turkish short story.
