Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
Written Open Book Online exam with two open questions.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Ability to assess and analyze gender-related questions, developments, religious positions and texts.
Examination topics
Content of the recorded lectures. The texts available on Moodle are intended as further/supportive readings and are therefore not part of the exam materials.

Women's rights, gender roles and their transformation; influence and interactions related to Islam and local culture throughout history up to the present time.
The course will be held in a hybrid mode. Other methods of instruction, such as pure online teaching, are possible, if counter-measures to COVID-19 should make this necessary.
