Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The third part of the four semester basic course is designed to enable students to independently work on modern New Persian texts. In addition to supplementing special points from morphology and syntax, this semester will also cover spoken language. The course resp. parts thereof can also be held online.

Assessment and permitted materials

Continuous monitoring takes place in the context of the lessons. At the end of the semester, a written test will be held. The results of students' participation, homework exercises and the final test are used for the assessment in a ratio of 50:50.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The course has an examination-immanent character. Attendance is compulsory (2 absences are tolerated). This also applies to sessions held online. It is expected that students prepare and follow up the reading texts in an appropriate manner. Lack of preparation is considered as absence. At the end of the semester, a supplementary final test will be held.
