Aims, contents and method of the course

Lecture and translation of Turkish texts into German, intermediate level.
Which kind of texts we read will be discussed in the first lecture.

Assessment and permitted materials

Regelmäßige Anwesenheit (3maliges Fehlen wird toleriert), gründliche Vorbereitung der zu lesenden Texte, Mitarbeit während der Stunde. Nicht vorbereitet gilt als abwesend.
Zwei schriftliche Zwischentests (Wörterbuch erlaubt) und ein schriftlicher Abschlusstest.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

25% Anwesenheit und Mitarbeit, 25% pro Test
Bewertung der schriftlichen Tests: pro schwerem Übersetzungsfehler werden zwei 2 Punkte von 100 abgezogen, pro leichtem Fehler wird 1 Punkt von 100 abgezogen; Notenschlüssel: 0-52 nicht genügend/53-65 genügend/66-77 befriedigend/78-90 gut/91-100 sehr gut

Ziel dieser LV ist es, anspruchsvolle Übersetzungen anzufertigen, die von Niveau und Sprachebene dem türkischen Original gerecht werden.

Texte sind zu Hause vorzubereiten und werden gemeinsam übersetzt, Probleme, Varianten etc. diskutiert.
