Aims, contents and method of the course

aims: Amharic on level A1 (read and translate simple texts; acquisition of basic vocabulary, basic gammar)
Amharic is the official language of Ethiopia and is spoken by more than 20 million people. The language uses a syllabary, each consonant is realized in seven types depending on the following vowel.
We will investigate the following language aspects thoroughly: grammatical structures, writing and reading.
