Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
1) Active participation
2) Creation of a short thesis on a selected linguistic topic (announcement of the topics from which students can choose before the Christmas holidays; submission March 31, 2022; length approx. 10 pages including bibliography)
3) written test at the end of the semester or at the beginning of the summer semester (March 2022); no aids such as scripts, lecture slides and books are allowed.
In the case of Covid-19 restrictions, the exam takes place orally and digitally.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
3 absences are tolerated, active participation (30%), essay (30%), test (40%).
Written work (approx. 10 pages long) that is written individually and according to the rules of good scientific practice; Submission of the thesis by March 31, 2022 at the latest.
Written exam that is written alone (1st date: last class in January 22), without aids and according to the rules of good scientific practice; 10 questions with 10 points each; Positive evaluation with over 50% of the achievable points: Graduation: 100 - 91 = very good; 79 - 90 = good; 65-78 = satisfactory; 51 - 64 = sufficient; <50 = not enough
