Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Thesis writing is an intense, peculiar, and a most important process within academic study. This seminar intends to provide you with the tools, skills, and methodologies to succeed in your project and opens perspectives for your future career. The course serves 1) as a platform to present, discuss, and decisively advance M.A. and Ph.D. projects. Advanced students who are only planning a master thesis or a doctorate are most welcome. We will learn about effective thesis planning, the phases and issues of the thesis process, and the ups and downs one encounters during academic writing. 2) We will also discuss various methodological approaches that are vital for your work or may inspire reflection about new angles of research. In this way, students also advance their knowledge about relevant new publications in the field of Tibetology and Buddhist Studies. Details of the content are determined in consultation with the participants.
