Aims, contents and method of the course
The course is a continuation of the the Advanced Zulu and conversation course.The content covered will be weighted mainly on A2 level and beginner B1 level isiZulu conversation and work on texts. Intorduction to more advanced grammar sections will take place regularly throughout the semester.The history and cultural aspects of IsiZulu as well as the Zulu people will be covered as well, this will cover certain linguistic asspects including regional colloquialisms found throughout Kwa-Zulu Natal and outher provinces in which isiZulu is spoken.The course still continues with the Continous Assessment approach, where students will have weekly tasks and assignments that
Assessment and permitted materials
The course still continues with the Continous Assessment approach, where students will have weekly tasks and assignments that will be used in combination of a final examiniation in June 2021 that will determine the final semester mark. In this regard, lecture attendance is paramount to progress with the module.
