Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

In the winter semester 2024/25, a lecture series on ‘Interdisciplinary Studies on Alevism’ will be held as part of the individual Bachelor's degree programme ‘Alevi Theological Studies’. This lecture series brings together leading international academics from various disciplines to contribute to research into Alevi theology and its socio-political and cultural contexts. The aim is to provide students of Alevi theology with insights into diverse topics such as politics, history, society, rituals and gender and to involve them in interdisciplinary and international research.
The lecture series is an integral part of the degree programme ‘Alevi Theological Studies’ and will take place in digital form.

Assessment and permitted materials

Written module examination
The examination questions cover the topics discussed in the lectures as well as the content provided on Moodle.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Die Note für diesen Kurs besteht aus einer schriftlichen Modulprüfung, welche einen Teil der gesamten STEOP-Prüfungen ausmacht. Erst wenn die Studierende alle Prüfungen der STEOP positiv bestanden haben, können sie weitere Lehrveranstaltungen und Prüfungen absolvieren.
Für eine positive Note müssen als Minimum 50% der Punkte erreicht werden.
50% und weniger = nicht genügend (5)
51-62% = genügend (4)
63-75% = befriedigend (3)
76-88% = gut (2)
89%+ = sehr gut (1)
