Aims, contents and method of the course

"Applied Geography of Japan" is an introductory course. The course does not only deal with geography, it also will bear upon society, art, culture and problems of modern Japan. The course shall impart basic knowledge on Japan.
The course will be supported by power point presentations, videos or films. Questions and discussions are welcome.

Assessment and permitted materials

Written test via e-learning platform. Evaluation with points-based system, where more than 50% are necessary to pass the test.permitted auxiliary means: all
