Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The course aims not only at sketching a history of poetry over one century on the basis of selected authors (whose lifetimes span from the 19th to the 21st century), but also to demonstrate how a rapidly changing everyday environment becomes manifest in their poetic creation in different ways. In addition, translations of hitherto untranslated poems shall be elaborated and systematically discussed.
