Aims, contents and method of the course

The course informs about the basic issues and procedures of scientific research and writing with a special focus on the field of Chinese health care.

Assessment and permitted materials

Homework, participation in discussions, test (revising of contents taught over the semester).

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The course aims at providing basic knowledge and skills regarding finding, reading and using source material, as well as writing a scientific text.

Examination topics

The issues of scientific research and writing are introduced and discussed in class. Most of the discussions are based on students' homework and/or reading assignments.
