Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This doctoral class will give all the participants the chance to present their on-.going doctoral research to the fellow participants and receive or else give feedback to the presentations. In addition, we will focus on the question whether or not a theoretical basis is needed for research in all fields of China Studies. To this aim, we will read articles related to the topic.
Assessment and permitted materials
Each participant should decide whether or not making a presentation on the on-going research in one's own project is necessary. If not, the participant is required to prepare a presentation on an on-going publication project or on a presentation in some other conference.
In addition, parricipants are required to search for one article on questions of theory in the field related to the doctoral project and present it in class.
As a preparation for the presentation, each participant is required to read the text to be presented in class.
