Aims, contents and method of the course

The course focuses on researching, reading, analysing and understanding scientific texts and how to incorporate the information provided by them into one's own academic writing.

written assignments and participation in class

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

knowledge of selected literature on Chinese politics and law (focus on the fields of 'law and politics' as well as 'law and society');
improved management of source material;

Examination topics

introduction; presentation of and discussion on homework handed in by the participants; discussion on issues, theoretical and methodological approaches identified.
