- Johann Sebastian Bach, Brandenburg Concerto, n. 4 (before 1721)
- Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Piano Sonata K 310 (1778)
- Franz Joseph Haydn, String Quartet op. 76 n. 6 (1796-1797)
- Ludwig van Beethoven, Piano Sonata "Waldstein", op. 53 n. 21 (1803-1804)
- Franz Schubert, Night and Dreams (1825)
- Giuseppe Verdi, Ella giammai m'amò - Don Carlos (1867)
- Johannes Brahms, Four Serious Songs, op. 121 (1896).
