Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
Continuous assessment through set tasks and a short written examination are required.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The goal is to be able to recognise and analyse various structures of the Irish language in texts, to build up vocabulary and to understand an entire text without knowing every single word. Oberall structures of texts, the context and the capability of linking various parts in order to understand the whole is of great importance here.
Examination topics
Every week a text will be analysed, whereby the students will mainly work on it with the guiding hand of the lecturer.
