Aims, contents and method of the course

Modern Irish basics, syntax/morphology; idiom; vocabulary; reading/listening comprehension; writing simple texts, simple conversation

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Students have acquired the most important basics of Irish grammar and a stock of vocabulary, which enables them to participate in everyday, simple and short conversations; they are able, with the help of appropriate resources (dictionary, grammar), to interpret Irish texts

Examination topics

lecture using a variety of resources, practice; partcipation welcome!
