Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
New literature in interdisciplinary fields of psycholinguistics and theory of grammar will be presented and discussed. Main topics will be: grammar and memory, neuroimaging and grammar. These topics are discussed in typical language processing as well as in language pathology (e.g. morbus Parkinson, aphasias, different types of dementia).
Assessment and permitted materials
Credits will be based on active participation, a seminar presentation and a seminar paper.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Students will learn to deal with literature and methods in interdisciplinary fields of grammar theory, psycholinguistics and neurolinguistics. They have to prepare and present a talk (individually or with other students) and write a final paper (Seminararbeit).
