Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The pronunciation of the Irish language is the main focus here. The basic pronunciation, along with the correct emphasis in the Irish language, are taught while the association of the written language with the appropriate sound merits particular attention. To this end, simple dialogues are used for practice. This course is suitable for all levels those who have neglected the pronunciation Irish or those who are learning it for the first time.
Assessment and permitted materials
Continuous assessment through set tasks and a short written examination are required
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The goal of this course is to improve oral skills when speaking Irish.
Examination topics
The students are expected to practise at home. Recordings will be made available for this purpose.

Every student must have a dictionary (e.g. Foclóir Póca, Publ. An Gúm)
