Aims, contents and method of the course

Methods and fundamentals of historical linguistics and Indo-European studies. Readings of introductory literature.

Assessment and permitted materials

Homework and final exam.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Acquisition of skills in historical linguistics.
Grounding in the fundamentals in preparation for further study of Indo-European.
