Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
On the basis of the data and skills acquired in the Winter Semester, this "hands on" practically-oriented course will cover a) the elicitation of more complex data structures and b) the management of data on the PC using lexicon and interlinearisation software. Participants will decide during the first class whether we continue with Yaadre or choose a different non-European, non Indo-European language.
Assessment and permitted materials
a) Active participation in the informant sessions and
b) Independent questioning of the informant (10-15) and transcription of the elicited data on the PC.
