Aims, contents and method of the course

Ausgehend von einem Verständnis des Kinos als Erfahrungsaggregat, werden im Seminar filmtheoretische Ansätze diskutiert, die Prozesse der Wahrnehmung, kognitiven Informationsverarbeitung und der Erzeugung von Emotionen durch Filme fokussieren.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Im Seminar wird ein historischer Überblick über die wichtigsten filmtheoretischen Strömungen nach der klassischen Phase erarbeitet.
