Aims, contents and method of the course

Die Vorlesung bietet einen Überblick wesentlicher Etappen der Medienentwicklung. Markante und folgenreiche Entwicklungsprozesse der Mediengeschichte - von der Alphabetschrift über Fotografie, Film, Rundfunk bis zum Computer und der Internetkommunikation - werden nachgezeichnet und mit zentralen Fragestellungen der Medienwissenschaft verknüpft.
