Aims, contents and method of the course

The seminar will consist of presentations and class discussions.

Assessment and permitted materials

In order to receive a grade for the seminar, either a presentation (40 minutes) has to be given or a paper (20 pages) has to be written (1 1/2 spaces).

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

This seminar will examine the relationship between Sartrean and Fanonian thought; special emphasis on topics such as anti-Semitism, black (anti-)racism, psychoanalysis, feminism, violence, counter-colonialism, militant politics.
