Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
The completion of two sub-assignments on understanding trauma and the responsibilities of being a teacher (in the broadest sense) during the seminar. (4-6 pages each) For all student teachers, a final paper with reflection on the school situation (6 pages). For all others, a final paper with reflection on the university teaching situation (6 pages). Submissions during the semester will serve as preliminary work at best.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
In order to pass the course, it is necessary to hand in at least all texts on the agreed dates, to evaluate these texts as sufficient (4) and to attend the seminar consistently.

The seminar will be primarily about a dialogue between all those present and will also offer the opportunity to talk about examples of traumatization that go beyond those addressed by the texts of colonialism, racism and transphobia. Because, first of all, it must be said that there can be no guide in the sense of a one-to-one instruction for the trauma-sensitive handling and the responsibility of the teacher.
