Aims, contents and method of the course
The aim of this seminar is to investigate conspiracy theories and to examine how this contemporary and prevalent topic can be addressed in the philosophy and psychology classroom.
The seminar course is divided into a theoretical and a practical part.
The theoretical part centers on conspiracy theories, especially those of the 21st century, which will be examined in order to analyze different types of conspiracy theories, identify patterns in the narratives of conspiracy theories as well as to reflect on alternate definitions of the term ‘conspiracy theory’ itself.
The focus of the psychological part of the seminar is to examine what personality traits impact an individual’s receptivity for conspiracy theories and on which (psychologically thoroughly investigated) judgment biases these are based. In the philosophical part of the seminar, the mechanisms through which conspiracy theories deceive judgment and reason will be discussed.
The practical part of the seminar is focused on the methodical and didactic questions of transforming philosophical and psychological subjects into subjects for philosophy and psychology lessons in school.
Students should conceptualize a teaching unit in small groups, for which the materials used consists essentially of the material discussed in the seminar. In a final presentation of their teaching concepts, participants should justify their selections of the text and film material, their order of lessons and the text abbreviations as well as the opening questions to text and film.
Theoretical input provided by the lecturer will be alternating with group and partner work by the students. Text reading is mandatory, as well as some written assignments throughout the semester and a lesson series towards the end of the semester.

Aims, contents and method of the course
This seminar focuses on the hours of study designed by the students themselves. In addition to content input on didactic possibilities, forms of teaching etc. problems of the students were asked for, discussed and solved together (clarification of terms, search for literature, editing of scientific texts, examination modalities, etc.). Students' own learning experiences (learning histories) also play an important role. For personal reflections of the different expectations of the students to your profession will also be in this seminar time. Last but not least, in this course of study the field of work of the teachers is investigated.

The participants will be given the opportunity to ask questions between the individual sections. Active participation during individual and group assignments throughout the course, guideline-based observations of lessons, didactical planning of a lesson in a team and the implementation of the lesson design in the actual classroom setting and written paper (methodological analysis and reflection of the lesson).

Vorbereitung zur Befähigung der forschungsgeleiteten Abschlussarbeit. Methodische Vertiefung Fachdidaktik: Theatrale Darstellungsformung psychologischer/philosophischer Inhalte, Ebenenwechsel lernen, Einübung des fremden Blicks, Perspektivenwechsel – Argumentieren und Problemverständnis, Diskursverständnis (Debate Club).
