Aims, contents and method of the course
The aim of the course is to teach the basic techniques, tools and procedures of scientific work with a special focus on philosophy. All steps relevant to scientific work, the writing of seminar papers and the oral presentation of papers are dealt with in detail: Finding topics, formulating questions and objectives, literature research, electronic databases, bibliography software, dealing with manuals and encyclopaedias, citation rules, structure of seminar papers, presentation of papers, etc.
