Aims, contents and method of the course

The lecture provides an introduction to the field of cognitive psychology covering the fundamental topics of the field: perception, attention and consciousness, memory, and language. The history of the discipline will be covered also as well as the main methods and, if desired, selected additional topics.
Method: classroom-style; interactive

Assessment and permitted materials

Written or oral exams at the end of the lecture.
Active participation in the lecture is a plus

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Knowledge acquisition in the history, the methods, and the state of research in cognitive psychology/neuroscience.

Examination topics

Lecture; self reading (text book); witten exams.
