Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
In this course we will explore different ethical questions and provide two basic theoretical frameworks with which to approach them. The problems we will consider include the distinction between killing and letting die, abortion, euthanasia and the treatment of animals, among others. The two basic theoretical frameworks we will consider are Consequentialism and Deontology.
