Aims, contents and method of the course

Die Moralphilosophie ist teils so fokussiert auf gutes Handeln und die moralische Perfektionierung von Subjekten und Gemeinwesen, dass die genauere Betrachtung schlechten oder bösen Handelns vernachlässigt, wenn nicht gar ignoriert wird. Wie Kritiker meinen, stehen die Moraltheorie und teils auch die Theorien des Handelns im Banne des Guten - under the guise of the good'. Im Seminar untersuchen wir anhand wichtiger philosophischer Aufsätze, warum die Handlungstheorie und die Moralphilosophie schlechtes und böses Handeln nicht genügend beachtet haben. Wir beschäftigen uns auch mit der Frage, was eigentlich böses Handeln' in einem nachmetaphysischen Gesellschaftsverständnis bedeuten kann.
Wir behandeln diese Fragen anhand von Texten von Michael Stocke, J. David Velleman, Candice Vogler, Kieran Setiya u.a.
