Aims, contents and method of the course
This course is about research with children with intellectual disabilities. Together we will go through an imaginative research process, planning the research (participatory, emancipatory research, ethics ...), developing research instruments and using them (role play), analysing an already existing interview and giving feedback.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
One aim of this course is working and reflecting on literature about research with children with intellectual disabilities. The second one is trying out relevant parts of a research process practically. So students should get theoretical and practical knowledge about the research with children with intellectual disabilities.
Examination topics
Lecturing specific topics as well as working, presenting and discussing in groups will be part of the course. The main focus will be on "learning by doing", critical reflections and discussions, team work and presentation.
