The intersection between disability and migration lies at the heart of this course. Migration/Flight can be even more challenging for persons with different disabilities. Those with severe/complex disabilities might be prevented from fleeing as such. Based on recent media coverage and relevant research papers, it asks questions related to immediate and subsequent effects of migration on inclusive education.
Goals:
Students should be enabled to assess the impact of migration movements on their profession and position related questions in the latest scientific discourse.
Methods:
Probably guest speakers will be invited or an excursion will be offered, group works, impulse presentations and self-study of research papers.
