Aims, contents and method of the course
This course further explores the main texts discussed in the lecture course BM 8 Theoretische Grundlagen der Problemstellungen (AHP+SB): The history of education - methods and approaches. Students will be encouraged to engage closely with the key issues in the history of education.
Assessment and permitted materials
50%: final essay (Seminararbeit)

Examination topics
For the assessment of course work and the final essay, students' familiarity with the literature treated in the lecture series and the seminar as well as students' own initiative in preparing themselves for work in class and for the final essay will be taken into account.
