Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The pedagogic theory construction looks more and more critical at their own involvement in the reproduction of excluding practices. Educational work concepts are reflected according to the factors of difference, discrimination and participation. The goal of this process is to elaborate, how far the practices of distinction are guaranteeing their own reproduction. The seminar focuses on the ambivalences within the thematization of heterogeneity as well as on questioning previous pedagogical concepts (Pedagogy of Diversity, Intercultural Pedagogy, Critique of Culturalization, Pedagogy of Migration). The aim of these questions is to elaborate on what extent these concepts include the postmigrant perspectives of educational participants and pedagogues in their theory construction and the pedagogical practice.
